Goji OG: A Happy, Himalayan High
Fully grown Goji OG plants feature deep, dark greens and oranges as far as its leaves and buds are concerned. The leaves are small and compact allowing ample sunlight to reach all of its branches. The orange hairs that protrude from the buds are bright with a reddish tint. Every single bud is covered with white sticky resin, which produces a tasty aroma long before you ever see the plant. When harvested the nuggets ar leafy and full but easy to break up for smoking. Note that your fingers will be coated in sticky resin after you pull apart the nuggets leaving your hands smelling earthy and musky. This highly tropical plant has won its fair share of awards as it is one of the more popular strains the Western world has ever seen. Goji OG took home second place for Non-solvent Hash in the 2014 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup in San Francisco and first place for Concentrate in the 2013 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup in Seattle. With major award wins and tons of 4-5 star reviews online, Goji OG has loads of staying power in the cannabis cultivation world.
Growing Tips for Our Seeds
Goji OG is a strain that is unique in that it has tremendous yield sizes. This is due to the fact that the plant grows quite large, exceeding six feet in size when grown properly. However, it is not a particularly difficult plant to grow. The plants require a bit of attention so they don’t overgrow, but expect taller than average plants with Goji OG. They prefer a warmer climate with plenty of fresh air and sunlight but not too much humidity. Think Nepal in the summertime, that is the kind of environment that these plants absolutely thrive in. Indoor and outdoor grows are both suitable for this strain.
Dial in Your Growing Conditions
- Indoor or Outdoor: Goji OG plants are a relatively easy grow even for novice growers. The ideal temperature for these plants is between 68-77 degrees fahrenheit. Begin your grow with 18 hours of light per day with 6 hours of darkness topromote healthy growth. Once you hit the flowering stage you will want to dial it back to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness to get to harvest.
- Moisture control: Relative humidity levels should be approximately 40% during the vegetative stage and keep it at 40% through the flowering stage to ensure you don’t find mold or bud rot or mildew on your plants.
- Training Techniques: Topping, Low-stress training and fimming are all solid methods to utilize when growing this strain. Each method increases your yield by promoting healthy canopy growth. The trick is to not overgrow the canopy so equal light and air can reach even the lower buds.
The Germination Game Plan
Before you even plant your Goji OG female cannabis plants, you will first need to germinate these seeds. To do so, refer to our free germination guide, knowing that they are backed by our impressive 90% germination guarantee.

- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 400 grams per square meter and outdoor grows typically produce up to 800 grams per plant. These yield figures are great considering how easy this strain is to grow.

Dominant Cannabinoids in Goji OG:
