CBD Critical Mass
The CBD Critical Mass strain is a variant of the original Critical Mass strain. This variant has far less THC than the original but features the same flavor and aroma profile, with less psychoactive effects on the user. The CBD Critical Mass strain of cannabis is an Indica-dominant hybrid that was created by combining the original Critical Mass with South Indian and Brazilian landrace strains. The earthy taste and aroma of sweet fruit mixed with pine enhances the calming experience provided by CBD Critical Mass cannabis. Hints of lemon, pepper, and a little spiciness add to the delicious flavor that users absolutely love. This strain is known for helping you clear your head and stay relaxed without a strong high. This makes it perfect to use any time of day, without the consequences of being bogged down by a heavy buzz. CBD Critical Mass has also been known to help with focus as it doesn’t create a fogginess within the user’s mind.

CBD Critical Mass: CB-Delicious
CBD Critical Mass plants grow into medium to tall plants with dark green leaves and buds that appear to be near white in color. The reason for the coloration of the buds is because of the crystal resin trichomes that cover the surface area. Without those trichomes, the buds would be similar in color to the leaves. Looking closely, you can actually see that there are brown and orange pistils growing from within the buds. In certain light, the buds appear to have a graying tint to them as well. The harvested nuggets are light green with flashes of amber throughout. The nuggets are super dense, and when you break them apart, you get a whiff of an herbal and peppery aroma. Even though there is little THC in these nuggets, they still produce a heavy marijuana scent and delicious flavor profile. Both the CBD and THC versions of Critical Mass have won awards for their flavors, effects, and overall popularity. The OG Critical Mass won the High Times Cannabis Cup in multiple categories over different years. The strain has also won awards in the United States and overseas.
Growing Tips for Our Seeds
CBC Critical Mass feminized seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors in a warm climate. The strain isn’t difficult to grow, and if it is your first time growing your own cannabis, you should be able to bring it to harvest without any headaches. This strain prefers a warm, humid, and sunny environment to thrive. Growing outdoors, you are going to want to give these plants lots of light and fresh air. Grown indoors, you will need to replicate its natural growing habitat to produce the massive buds and huge yields this CBD strain is known for. Even with little prior experience, you can produce large yields of high-quality buds as long as you follow a few simple growing rules.
Dial in Your Growing Conditions
- Indoor or Outdoor: CBD Critical Mass marijuana can be grown indoors and outdoors by novice growers. The desired temperature for this strain is between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. In the vegetative stage, you should provide 18-20 hours of light each day. To induce the flowering stage of growth, you will need to alter the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle. This will take you all the way to harvest.
- Moisture control: Humidity levels of approximately 50% during the vegetative phase, gradually decreasing to 35% or slightly lower during the flowering stage.
- Training Techniques: Low-stress training (LST) and topping methods are the best training techniques for this plant. Using these methods when growing CBD Critical Mass will increase yields, providing you with one of the heaviest harvests in the cannabis community.
The Germination Game Plan
Before you even plant your CBD Critical Mass female cannabis plants, you will first need to germinate these seeds. To do so, refer to our free germination guide, knowing that they are backed by our impressive 90% germination guarantee.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the CBD Critical Mass strain to harvest after a flowering period of 55-65 days. Grown outside, it should be ready to harvest from about the beginning to the middle of October.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 500-600 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 700-1000 grams per plant. These yields are larger than your average grow. Reaching the harvest of this strain will provide you with large buds of CBD-rich cannabis for months.
