Growers Choice Seeds has the highest germination guarantee in the industry: we guarantee a 90% germination rate* on all marijuana seeds. Seeds that do not germinate will be replaced at no charge to the customer, shipping not-included.
Failed seeds are valid for replacement if the seed remained closed and did not develop a taproot within the allotted germination time (2 weeks or 14 days). Please see our Germination Guide for further instructions on how to successfully germinate your cannabis seeds.
Germination Guarantee Policy Outline
When you order from Growers Choice Seeds, you receive high-quality seeds that have been carefully picked from the best genetics that have been time-tested to ensure a germination rate of at least 90%*. Though some visual markers may be used to predict a seed’s viability, we strongly recommend you attempt to germinate every seed you purchased, regardless of size, color, or density.
Every seed that is packed into our air-tight, fully-sanitized containers is hand-picked, carefully inspected, and thoroughly washed before they are packaged to be shipped to you. Our stringent process ensures that you receive the highest quality seeds that have the highest chances of successfully germinating into seedlings that will grow into healthy marijuana plants.
In order for you to utilize the Germination Guarantee, you must agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
- You followed the Germination Guide exactly as it is laid out.
- Provide photo documentation as proof of your approach.
- The allotted time for germination (two weeks/14 days) has elapsed.
- Cannabis seeds purchased more than 60 days prior are not eligible for the Germination Guarantee.
* We cannot replace single failed seeds – the guarantee pertains to two (2) or more non-viable cannabis seeds that still meet the less than 90% requirement. (For example: 8/10 germinate: 80%; this order is eligible for the guarantee. 23/25 germinate: 92%; this order is not eligible.)
Growers Choice will not be able to assist in any claim if any of the above requirements are not met.
Cost of Replacement
The cost of the replacement cannabis seed(s) is covered by this germination guarantee and Growers Choice will provide store credit in equal value to the customer.

Limitations to the Germination Guarantee
The Germination Guarantee extends only to cannabis seed germination. Due to the wide range of human and other outside factors involved in the growing period, our Germination Guarantee cannot cover any issues with plant growth subsequent to germination. You must follow the extended instructions listed above when germinating your seeds in order for your seeds to be eligible for replacement.
The Germination Guarantee allows for only one replacement per product, and cannot be applied to the same order more than once. Additionally, the germination guarantee cannot be applied to replacement seeds that were previously replaced.
Photo Documentation
Growers Choice aims to exceed your satisfaction, and our our staff is working on expediting your claim through the process.
In order to facilitate a fair evaluation of your claim, your claim will require photos documenting your germination process. The photos will need to clearly show your seeds failing to germinate throughout the process. And the seeds in the photos will be eligible for replacement. Growers Choice reserves the right to deny your claim if you are unable to provide proper photo documentation.
Other Exclusions
Growers Choice reserves the right to decline guarantee protection coverage on seeds that have been won through prize draws, promotional events, or been given away by third parties.
