These seeds sprout really easily. As for the plants, I have grown something like seven different strains now, and this is the most visually beautiful one. It has really big, beautiful leaves that are just beautiful to look at. The edges of the leaves are serrated more than other plants, it seems to me. It’s striking. Really beautiful. I haven’t harvested this strain yet. I had it years ago, from a dispensary in Massachusetts, and I was like “This stuff makes me…HAPPY.” And I never see it for sale from dealers around here. I think there’s a CBD variant strain of Lemon Haze out there somewhere. I’d love to try that. I have confirmed what Sanjay Gupta and research says: for really bad chronic pain (spinal, in my case), you want a plant that has a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD. It’s an entirely different ball game than just THC or CBD alone. I started growing out of sheer necessity, for medical purposes. I kind of pooh-poohed the idea of growing dope as a “hobby” (although I do really enjoy gardening, all kinds of plants…more and more). But I LOVE growing these — yeah…as a HOBBY. You gain really intimate knowledge of each strain, at every stage. And also of each individual plant. And I love being able to grow different varieties… If you could grow this Lemon Haze outdoors, it would be insane. They are big plants. Holy smokes, this stuff is some holy smoke! End result is high yielding, I got about 24 ounces off 5 plants, 3 in a 4×4, 2 in a 3×3. Keep in mind I did this hydroponically, without any training or topping, and I’m new to the indoor game so my initial setup utilizes minimal tech and knockoff LED boards. I’d say that’s a sweet indoor yield for sure.
Not the strongest smell, definitely not skunky, but citrus like smells as described. Taste is yummy, and it gets very sticky with trichromes, which can give a little tingle every now and then. Great smoke, nice and smooth. And it looks amazing. Not only does it have those lemon hints to its smell and taste, but it’s got little hints of a nice lemon yellow on the flower itself, so lovely! You won’t regret growing this! I suggest a ***** setup though if you’d like to yield multiple lbs. I can’t see it happening any other way indoors.

My overall experience in dealing with GCS has so far been phenomenal. I ordered 10 of these lemon haze seeds and unfortunately only 6 germinated. I started germinating 4, and only 2 popped. When I wrote them, they asked if I’d be willing to try germinating the rest (even If I waited until months later) before putting in for a replacement. They wanted to make sure this wasn’t a bad strain. Well I moved along a lot faster and only 4 of the last 6 germinated. Because of my help they credited me enough to order another 10 seeds of any kind I wished! Heck ya!
As far as these plants are growing, I wanted to wait until they hit their flowering stage before reviewing them. Take a look at the pictures. I don’t like to trim plants much before flowering. I only trim what’s absolutely necessary but with these they tend to need a lot of that. I can say without a doubt they will grow exactly as described up above. You will need to trim both branches and roots (assuming you know what your doing with a hydroponic setup) otherwise they WILL take up all available space in their buckets, and the canopy will become overwhelming.
The plants pictured are only on day 35 at the time taken! Incredible! That’s 4 weeks vegetative (after seedlings are established, which took only a few days), and one week transition into flowering. I had roots hanging into the nutrient solution in a single week. I’ve never seen a plant move so fast!

This stuff grows fast, easy, and best of all prime bud. At least 5 harvests here and seems to get better all the time. Have a monster crop clone going right now. The bud gives a super high all the time, and seems to resist resistance to it. Oh yeah, it’s like a hash machine, too. I’ve made several purchases from GCS at this point, and I have not even one little complaint about them. Not one, and I’m kinda richardish about such things.
Moreover, their seeds are nice and big, fat, and healthy looking. The type you used to see back when you bought those bags with the stems and seeds in them. You know, back when dinosaurs were stomping on the good ol’ Terra Firma.
I didn’t get my “Green Card” until this last Monday, so I’m just now getting my personal grow system up and going now, and I can hardly wait to start my first grow with Lemon Haze. At least that’s the plan right now.
I’ve been waiting to grow my own legal cannabis since I was 19. I had a license to protect back in the day, so I didn’t risk it on cultivating pot. I’m 62 y/o now or will be on 18/7, I no longer have a DEA number to protect, so I’m about to pop my metaphoric horticultural ***** here.
I was a physician in my working days, and I have a Master’s Degree in Biology (As well as Bachelor’s in Organic Chemistry, and Math. What can I say, I liked school.), and I’ve been waiting all this time to direct my mighty moose brain muscles on this task. It’s about time that I got some use outta those degrees… well… except for the whole doctoring thing. I guess I got some pretty good mileage outta that one, but I fear I digress.
GCS is a great company to do business with. I had cause to deal with their customer service department recently because I was trying to set up a new payment method. Even though, as I sit here writing this, we’re in the middle of that whole COVID-19 kerfuffle. (Or Captain Trips, or whatever you young people are calling it nowadays.) I didn’t hear from them right, but, then again, I didn’t expect that I would considering the current medical environment. They were darn quick though, all things considered, and I like that.
They vend very good looking beans, not like the “Name Brand” varieties you get from other sellers, not to mention names. And, as if all that wasn’t enough, they have a good preferred, or repeat customer program. It takes a little reading to understand, but I like it.
In my personal opinion, I Love to Grow Marijuana is a great company to do business with. I’ve dealt with several other vendors over the years, stockpiling seeds. I’ve only had one incident where I got rogered pretty good, but it certainly wasn’t by GCS.

Purchasing was a walk in the park. Finally, got them started in an AeroGarden & they popped up quickly. I’m a first time grower so I’m winging it. I started 5 thinking maybe 3 would sprout, nope, all 5 did!
They’re getting a bit smelly now & I’m not really sure about transplanting them into a different growing medium. I’d like to try keeping them in the AeroGarden as long as I can since it’s easy to adjust the lighting height, might not have enough room for them though. They’re spreading out nicely with the lights being close – I’m trying to keep it around 1” above them.

This variety grows strong. Had a couple of seeds that didn’t pop but GCS took care of it. Once they do germinate, they are juggernauts. They cannot be stopped. Recommend a high-powered light for these if growing indoors, and a 5-stage RO water supply. Mine are two weeks from being flipped to the flowering photoperiod and are undergoing low-stress training under a trellis net to keep their height under control and develop more bud sites. Growing these is much fun indeed, and will enjoy watching them explode when flowering. So far so good.

The lemon smell is amazing so far. I have over 30 tops with 6 to 8 small nugs below. Started Dec 17 and used low-stress bending to keep it less than 3 ft high. Check back with me in a month. How I got 30 + tops was by just clipping parts of new growth without completely nipping the new growth off.
