I’ve only grown one platinum kush so far. I harvested 3 ounces dry. I had a bug infestation and sprayed the plant with a non-toxic bug and mildew killer, but foolishly I did it under full light. I fried a lot of the leaves, or else I would have gotten over 4oz on it. The buds still turned out beautiful and super crystally. I have a few friends that go on trips to various legal states and hit up the dispensaries. I always try to get reviews on my quality. They all agree that mine is as good as anything you’d get from a dispensary. Also, my gf is on medical mj. In my state you can’t get real flower, only crushed flower. The PK blows the “medical” crushed flower out of the water. It’s smoother and has to be at least as strong.

Platinum kush sprouts are about 18” and doing well. I’m comparing the growth between gelato and platinum kush. Appears pk has strong indica tendencies, I’m not aware of the genetics, but healthy. I grew 3 of these Platinum kush strain seeds, and started about 7 more that I handed out to people at work to grow. Everybody loved it and did a great job. I found that this strain really responds to low stress training, bushing out into some big yields. Two of my plants were topped, then tops stretched outward and staked toward the ground. Within two weeks these plants exploded with new growth! Both plants were less than waste high, but about three feet or more in circumference, and produced a little over ten ounces each. The smell is awesome, but really low profile for privacy. The only issue I had, was one of the three was sort of a top heavy runt that matured much later, and I also felt like they did not have as great of trichome production as I would have thought. Overall though, great strain, great smoke!
