I’m about a week away from harvest. It’s been easier to grow than my last batch (Amnesia haze). I got four out of five plants as one turn herm on me. It’s funny how each plant has it’s own character which, at times, has me wonder if it’s really all the same strain. Even though all plants have had identical growing times, light, notes, topping, etc. no two are alike. One has huge buds while another has tiny ones. One is almost ready to harvest while another is nowhere near close. One had leaves that turned yellowish while the others are healthy dark green. Buds on one are tall and skinny while the one next to it is wide and stubby. Oh well, they’re doing ok and soon I’ll taste the product of my efforts.

So I bought 20 Super Silver Haze seeds, 10 LSD seeds, and LA Confidential seeds. I’m a returning custi from last season. Anyway, I tried sprouting 5 of the LSD seeds and 4 are currently living in my 4×4 grow tent. 2 have a beautiful purple tinge and look to be the Indica phenos that will be cloned and spread out, but all in good time, next step is first…they have more growing to do. I haven’t gotten to the other seeds YET however by the end of April I’ll have all them going outdoors after sprouting them in the tent. I’ll let you all know how everything turns out. But so far so good. Now is the hard part. Doing the work and keeping them not just healthy but thriving.

Seed popped right away. During vegetative growth the plant did really well. I used a combination of low-stress training and light defoliation. During flowering, however, the buds did not get real fat. I believe this to be the fact that my grow tent never gets above 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Perhaps I didn’t give them the nutrients that were needed to succeed. The yield was advertised between 15 and 17 Oz per Square m. I only got one ounce off this plant and very few large buds. It definitely was not the light as I have a very high-tech Horticulture light.
