This is an updated review, 4 of the 5 seeds came up, 2 are doing great, 1 will be catching up soon enough, the 4th came up but stopped growing due to it coming out defective by not producing a top shall we say. That is nobody’s fault it happens sometimes. I pinched out the top hoping the two limbs that had starting to form will come out in the next feeding which will be a full dose of nutrients.
All in all a 80% germination rate is not bad considering the germination rate from other seed producers I have tried, even I after 50 years of off and on growing/breeding I’ve not done any better. So yes at the end of the day I would recommend this site as a reliable seed producer.
Now I’m off to find about 20 granddaddy purple seeds or something close to it.

First, let it be known I grown almost all Sativa, but spouse wanted some Indica so I bought this strain hoping it would not be too much of a challenge to grow. Things I learned growing 3 of the 5 seeds – this strain needs really good support because the buds are huge and will easily flop over. I just started the other 2 seeds and will add good old-fashioned tomato cages. I also noticed you have to really mind your temp and humidity with this strain if you grow inside. Invest in one of those battery-operated temp/humidity sensors ($8-10 on eBay). You also might want to invest in a bigger fan if you have a small one. This strain has a long flowering time. Don’t harvest too soon. I put one plant outside to see how it would do and it didn’t do nearly as well as the inside plants in that it seemed to be a magnet for sap-sucking bugs. It got harvested early. My indoor plants had very little smell for plants with big sticky colas even after giving them some molasses before harvest. All in all, it was more work to grow than a Sativa (or Sativa-dominant hybrid) which is why I knocked one star off the review.

Germinated in just a few days, planted in my indoor grow. 3 gallon fabric pot, Humboldt farms soil, two plants in the bathtub with 2 overhead HydroMax lights overhead on a 20/4 schedule. Grew quickly, FIMMED once. Flowered at 6 weeks. Has been in flower for 3 weeks now. wish I could post a photo cause this is a beautiful multi cola plant with huge buds that are stacking nicely. lots of bright orange threads, Trichomes still cloudy which I’m glad about that so it will have about three more weeks to continue to fatten and stack. Don’t know how it vapes yet. Oh yes, Gallon per day with light feeds Grow Big for veg and Tiger Bloom for bud every other feed with the occasional one oz of H2O2. Now I’ll add one feed of ChaChing until harvest.

So far this has been the best strain I have grown from GC. They always germinate. The last one I grew was nearly broken in half due to my light swing down and bending it in half. I used a wood dowel and tape to split it. That plant grew the best out of all of them. Most never got above 18″. This plant grew to 42″. Beautiful buds. I just pulled it today after 3 months. This is my first cannabis indoor grow. I grew weed outdoors as a kid many, many years ago. Through social media I learned about cannabis flower. OMG! Critical Purple is a powerful smoke. I took 4 hits and I was very, very mellow. Well, actually, I was totally wasted. It is far more powerful than I ever expected. It needs to be taken in moderate doses.
I took advantage of their 2 for 1 offer and now have Mazars in flower. It has a lower THC %. Maybe the Mazars will be an easier smoke. Both types seem to be easy to grow, and so far, with better than expected results.
