White Buffalo: No Longer a Mythical Beast
White Buffalo seeds will grow into tall, skinny plants featuring pointy green leaves that hold up strong, dense, resin covered buds. From far away the buds appear to be white, but closer inspection reveals that the buds are just super dusty. The white crystal resin covering the plants makes them incredibly sticky, which most cannabis users really love. Harvested the nuggets are bright green with amber hairs throughout. That white crystal resin we touched upon earlier stays on the harvested nuggs and when broken open releases a powerful aroma that is pleasant to the senses. While White Buffalo hasn’t taken home any major awards its legendary status in the cannabis community preceeds it. People know about White Buffalo simply because of word of mouth. Marijuana marketing of this strain is totally grassroots, and STILL, this strain has increased in popularity steadily over the years.
Growing Tips for Our Seeds
Although not the most challenging strain, growing White Buffalo Autoflowering cannabis usually requires some prior experience. White Buffalo can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Best results will be received by growing it in a semi-humid, Mediterranean-style climate. It needs to be reiterated that White Buffalo is susceptible to damage from mold and pests. This means that the grower will have to make sure to control the humidity levels the plants are exposed to and that vigilance is maintained to prevent any mold growth.
Dial in Your Growing Conditions
- Indoor or Outdoor: Growing White Buffalo plants indoors and outdoors can be tricky with no prior experience. A warm, semi-humid climate with ample sunlight is perfect for this strain. The ideal temperature for these plants is between 70-80 degrees fahrenheit. Typically you should be changing the light cycle from 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness to a 12/12 schedule from vegetative to flowering stages.
- Moisture control: Relative humidity levels should be approximately 40-60% during the vegetative stage and lowered to 40% during the flowering stage.
- Training Techniques: Strategies like topping and low-stress training (LST) will help this plant grow to harvest by controlling the canopy and allowing light to reach every level of the plant.
The Germination Game Plan
Before you even plant your White Buffalo female cannabis plants, you will first need to germinate these seeds. To do so, refer to our free germination guide, knowing that they are backed by our impressive 90% germination guarantee.
Yields, Flowering Time and Harvest
- Flowering Time: With indoor grows you can expect the White Buffalo strain to harvest after a flowering period of 60-70 days. If you grow your White Buffalo outside then you can begin harvesting somewhere between the last week of September to the second week of October.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 450 grams per square meter and outdoor grows typically produce up to 450 grams per plant. These yields are great considering you just grew one of the most elusive strains on the planet.

Topping out around 24%, the THC in the Sativa-dominant strain is responsible for the energetic and euphoric feeling you get when using White Buffalo.
